At Turku Conservatory, you can play piano in many different groups from ones that are for beginners to groups with different types of free accompaniment.

In piano groups, pianists can practise their skills of playing music together, such as finding a common tempo and listening to others, and enjoy playing together. The groups, consisting of 5–10 pianists, play songs arranged specifically for the group in question. When there are many players, they can play even bigger songs and themes by sharing responsibility. The groups welcome students whose major instrument is the piano and others who can play the piano and who want to experience the wider world of melody and the musical opportunities the group offers
