Music Technology, Creative Skills and Optional Studies
In music technology, students learn about the basics of music technology and what opportunities technology brings to music production and training, for example. Music technology can be a major or minor subject. Courses are available for both newcomers and those already familiar with the topic. Students learn to use different music technology applications, recording, mixing and playing together.
Music technology classes encourage students to express themselves, and they use technology as a creative tool for storing and editing musical ideas. Students are encouraged to make their own compositions and outputs. At the same time, the subject of music technology teaches useful musical skills, such as music perception, and it promotes the student’s path to becoming a musician.
