Art Centre at your School
The Art centre at your school (Taidekeskus koulussasi) activities are intended for school children, and they are organised at their own school or another local school. The fields of art vary by school and activities are organised according to demand.
The Art centre at your school activities offer personal instruction with instruments. You could describe the activities as instruction with incentives, a possible step towards basic education in the arts. The activities do not follow a curriculum. Instead, they depend on what each player needs.
Schedule for school year 2025–2026
- Autumn term: 25 August 2025 – 21 November 2025
- No lessons during the autumn holiday: Mon 13 October – Fri 17 October 2025
- 12 sessions in the autumn
- Spring term: 8 January 2026 – 27 April 2026
- No lessons during the winter holiday: Mon 16 February – Fri 20 February 2026
- No lessons during the Easter break: Thu 2 – Mon 6 April 2026

- Tuition fee €290.00
- Personal instruction 30 min per session
- Trial sessions (two times) cost €49
- Instrument leasing: contact operations coordinator (flute, clarinet, violin, cello)
- Prices include VAT 25.5%

Note
- Students are admitted in the order of sign-up.
- There are no entrance examinations and no previous hobbies are required.
- Once the semester begins, you can enquire about cancellation places.
- You sign up for the whole school year.
- You can cancel the study place before the beginning of the semester. Otherwise, you will be charged for the entire semester.
- The organiser does not provide insurance for the students.
- Please primarily notify the instructor if there will be any absences, and secondarily the office.
- If a student is absent three times without notification, their right to instruction may be revoked.
