On 13-19 April, the students of the Turku Conservatory’s Pop and Jazz programme will organise the Skaalat Solmuun Festival, which turns 20 this spring. To celebrate the anniversary, over 50 free music performances will be organised around Turku. The festival week concerts will take place in Turku’s most important venues and restaurants, including Turku Castle, Rica bar, Flame Jazz Club and Fuusio.

With a wide range of music, the event is guaranteed to have something for all ears. From electronic music to death metal, from jazz to indie pop, from dance music to rock and everything in between. So you can listen to live music throughout the six days of the festival.

“These Skaalat will be the biggest ever in history! It’s great to be able to produce this festival with such a great team,” said Hanna Sorsa, the festival’s executive producer.
