The Turku Conservatory’s big band concert will feature music by legendary American jazz composers and arrangers. The programme includes compositions by Duke Ellington, Neal Hefti, Sammy Nestico and Thad Jones, among others. In addition, the ensemble will perform a number of pieces by Art Blakey and the jazz messengers.
