The Turku Conservatory has four string orchestras of different levels: the String Strings for newcomers, the String Artists for those with a little more experience, the Young Strings for those who have been playing for longer, and the Chamber Strings for those who are more advanced. Every semester the string orchestras perform in a large joint concert, this fall’s concert is on Wednesday 3.12.2025 at 18:00 in Sigyn Hall. In addition, the string orchestras will perform in schools in the Turku area, as well as visiting and collaborating with other music schools outside the Turku area.
