LMJ: Onni Is Lost – A Bilingual Fairy-Tale Concert for the Whole Family
Friday 20.03.2026 klo 18.00
Sigyn Hall | Free entrance
“Where on earth is little circus boy Onni?” wonders Ringmaster Tipparsson. Clown OHO feels terribly unhappy. A Shadow sticks to the group—maybe it too will be noticed on this adventure through songs and dances. Could happiness be found by searching together? Onni Is Lost is a bilingual (Finnish–Swedish) multidisciplinary stage production combining music, dance, theatre, and circus arts. Written by Milla Rauma, the warm story explores the nature of happiness. The story is carried by Clown OHO (circus artist Karoliina Nordin), Ringmaster Tipparsson (dancer Sofianna Salmi), and the Shadow (puppet theatre artist Pauliina Vesslin). Music is created by an orchestra of teachers from Music Institute Arkipelag together with around 20 instrument students. The production also features around 50 dance students. Together, music, dance, theatre, and circus intertwine into a fairy-tale world that delights audiences of all ages. Artistic Team Script & direction: Milla Rauma Arrangements: Samuli Jokinen, Samuli Paavilainen Choreography: Katariina Gonzalez, Hanna-Riikka Nordman The production has been supported by Konstsamfundet’s and the Municipality of Kimitoön’s anniversary fund, Svenska Kulturfonden, Understödsstiftelsen för Arbetets Vänner Huvudföreningen, Stiftelsen Brita Maria Renlunds minne, and the Eugène, Elisabeth and Birgit Nygréns Foundation.
