Projects and internationality

Turku Conservatory has been involved in quality projects and networks that develop educational institutions as a coordinator or actor, such as the Diginä musaduuniin and Kohti huippulaatua lännessä (KHL) projects.

Active international cooperation produces numerous memorable events for our musicians and their audiences. The orchestras of different educational institutions have performed together several times, and we have developed piano pedagogy in international cooperation.

At the moment, we are in cooperation with the Kulturama school in Stockholm. In 2024, some of our students visited Stockholm under the Erasmus+ development project, and Swedish students visited Turku. The cooperation continues in 2025.
