Ravintola Teatro (Junakatu 9, 20100 Turku) | Vapaa pääsy

Three guitarists from the second year of the pop-jazz programme of the Turku Conservatory of Music will give a solo performance on 18 September at the Teatro restaurant:

José Robelo Project:

The Robelo Project was born out of a strong musical friendship at the Turku Conservatory. The group’s goal is to bring out the rich sound and melodic beauty of the guitar by combining elements of fusion, jazz, rock, blues, instrumental music and improvisation.

The project is led by Nicaraguan guitarist José Robelo, for whom the band is named and who creates its sound together with the other members:

José Robelo – guitar
Aleksi Hartelin – piano
Samuel Luoma – drums
Eino Kostiainen – bass

In its first live performance, the Robelo Project invites the audience on an energetic and creative journey, where technical mastery is combined with freedom of interpretation, and the interaction between the musicians promises a powerful and unforgettable experience.

Fuusiofantti (フューゾウン):

Fuusiofantti (フューゾウン) presents Japanese fusion jazz classics from artists such as Casiopea, Takanaka Masayoshi and Watanabe Kazumi. The two-guitar soloist band evokes both laid-back tropical surf vibes and tight attempts at race car tempos.

Jussi Griinari – guitar
Joakim Haahtela – guitar
Ahti Haapasalo – keyboards
Soledad Rivera – bass
Samuel Luoma – drums
